Marketing
We believe that the most important relationship is with our patients. In today’s

ProHealth’s finance team provides a comprehensive set of services to our physician membership. These services include:

Human Resources
Our Human Resources Department’s objective is to create a competitive advantage by providing innovative and cost-effective solutions to human resource management issues. Our professional staff consults with practices on a wide variety of issues, leads the process of negotiating and purchasing health and benefit plans, and provides access to a well-designed pension program.
Additionally, the department ensures compliance with laws and regulations that impact human resource systems and support the administration of other business insurance policies. Together with the Human Resources Committee, the team works on key policy and employee benefits issues, and consults with individual providers to address specific needs.

Billing Services
ProHealth’s billing operation focuses on ensuring that claims are paid accurately and quickly while providing high quality customer service to our patients. We are available daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. by calling (860) 284.5200 (select option one), to consult with one of our Customer Service Representatives on concerns you may have regarding the intricacy of submitting your bills and obtaining the proper payment.
We pride ourselves in our payment turn around time, which exceeds industry standards. This allows us to notify our patients timely if we experience any difficulties with your insurance.
If you are a new patient to a ProHealth practice you may wish to complete some of the required paperwork prior to your arrival at the practice. You can access the Adult, Pediatric, or Family Billing Information Sheet through one of the links provided below. Technology
ProHealth is committed to implementing information technology that supports improvement in the delivery of medical services. Our information technology services improve access to data and facilitate communications that increase productivity, enhance reporting capabilities, and support information-sharing. Specifically, we deliver billing, communication, and business productivity applications over a company-wide network that connects each of our practice sites to our main office in Farmington, CT.
Our practice sites are supported by a dedicated technology team and IT Help Desk. Our support team interfaces with practice sites to install and support hardware, applications, network connectivity, and phone systems throughout our practice sites. The technology team also maintains the server in Farmington, which hosts the network and applications for our practice sites. We also manage off-site
disaster recovery facilities.

Facility Development
ProHealth Physicians is committed to the development of state-of-the-art consumer-oriented facilities in the communities we serve. Our medical office facilities improve the efficiency of practice operations and offer access to laboratory, pharmacy, diagnostic testing, and rehabilitation services. Completed facilities have been developed in areas that are convenient to ProHealth practice sites in targeted service areas. Additional development opportunities in other ProHealth service areas throughout the state continue to be explored.

Risk Management Services
ProHealth Physicians provides a comprehensive program of professional liability insurance and risk management services. Group liability coverage is negotiated at competitive terms and rates, based on the size and experience of the organization.
In addition to insurance coverage, a proactive and organized risk management program assists our physicians in identifying and mitigating potential liability issues. Knowledge gained is proactively shared across the group to minimize the risk of future occurrence. In the event of a claim, specialized defense attorney and knowledgeable in-house counsel manage the claim and support the physician.

Legal Services
At ProHealth, we realize that the legal environment facing physicians can be daunting. The ProHealth legal department has a specialized expertise in health care and is available to assist our providers with a variety of legal issues such as:
